Plant Protection Products (pesticides)
The Spanish Food Safety Agency is tasked with notifying any authorisations concerning plant protection products, as stated in Article 4.2.d) of Royal Decree 709/2002, of 19 July, approving the Statute of the Spanish Food Safety Agency. The basis of the said report is to establish whether consumers are exposed to any risk from the use of plant protection products.
